By placing an order via our website (baretbats.com), you are offering to purchase a product on and subject to the following terms and conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.

Baret Bats retains the right to refuse any request made by you and you must be over 18 years of age. When placing an order you undertake that all details you provide to us are true and accurate, that you are an authorized user of the credit or debit card used to place your order, and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods. When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgment confirming receipt of your order. This will be an acknowledgment and will not constitute acceptance of your order. Baret Bats retains the right to accept or reject this offer before processing the order. A contract between us for the purchase of the goods will not be formed until your payment has been approved by us, the prices have been verified, and the order has been processed and dispatched. An email will be sent confirming these arrangements.

Pricing and Availability

While we try and ensure that all details, descriptions, and prices which appear on this website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or canceling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as canceled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund. Pricing on the site does not include sales tax nor shipping. Regional sales taxes will be calculated based on billing zip code and charged where applicable. Shipping costs will also be charged in addition. Shipping costs are estimated at the time of the order and based on the shipping address provided.

The website may contain typographical errors or other errors or inaccuracies and may not be complete or current. We, therefore, reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to refuse to fulfill any orders that you may place based on information on the website that may contain errors or inaccuracies, including, without limitation, errors, inaccuracies, or out-of-date information regarding pricing, shipping, payment terms, or return policies.

Warranty

We take pride in the quality of our wood and hand-craftsmanship, but there are times when a bat breaks because that’s just the nature of wood bats in general. Therefore, we cannot guarantee against breakage. But there are many things you can do in order to make your bat last longer. See our Bat Tips section for details.

Craftsmanship

We take pride in our quality hand-craftsmanship and distinctive artisan finishes.  Bats shipped to customers will be as close as possible to the articles represented on this website, but minor imperfections are inherent in our handmade process thus giving each bat its uniqueness and authenticity. 

Lead Time

Every bat is made to order. Most orders ship in 3 to 4 weeks, plus 2-4 days for shipping.  We are a small company so lead times can vary depending upon the time of year, size of the order, and complexity of the design. If anything extends the lead time of your order beyond three weeks we will notify you.  If you are in a rush to receive your bats or have a deadline please let us know prior to placing your order so we can confirm our ability to ship in time. Or you can check out our inventory of ready-to-ship bats here.

Shipping

We ship orders via USPS Priority Mail at a cost dependent on your location. Shipping takes 2-4 days dependent on your location. As a customer, you have the option to pick up your purchase at our shop location in Woodbridge, Virginia. Please inspect your items upon arrival.  If you receive a damaged item please keep the item and packaging and let us know right away so we can arrange a replacement.  Please keep the shipping boxes and packaging with the damaged items so that we can file a claim with the carrier. 

Cancellations

Since each bat is custom-made, orders cannot be canceled or modified once we start production. In addition, we do not offer refunds on our custom baseball bats or gloves. If you have any issues with your order please contact us at juan@baretbats.com within 7 days of delivery so we can discuss your concerns.

Returns

It is important to carefully consider your purchase prior to ordering and we will always try our best to ensure you select the correct product. Baret Bats does not provide refunds for incorrect choices in color, model, or size. 

Payment

Payment over the Internet can be made via our secure checkout pages using Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. Card charges will appear on your statement as “Baret Bats” All prices are quoted in U.S. Dollars and do not include regional sales taxes nor delivery.

Governed Law

Baret Bats Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Virginia State Law.

Liability

We shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages or expenses. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to property, lost income, profits, economic or commercial losses, and third parties claims. We will do our best to get all orders dispatched as quickly as possible.

Privacy Policy

Baret Bats uses the information we collect about you to process orders and provide our best service. We never sell or disclose any customer information to third parties and you can be confident your credit card details are safe. We send emails from time to time with product news and events but if you're not happy receiving them, let us know and we’ll remove you from our mailing list.
